After that some deviation between the experiments and the simulation can be found. Note that the capability of the overset mesh to go outside the background mesh, was introduced with version 2212.  However the good agreement between the simulation and the experiments (at least for this case) helps to get confidence regarding the reliability of the overset method implemented in OpenFOAM.
