Cavity - revision

Here, we will go into the depth of an OpenFOAM case by dissecting every line in each dictionary as well as the output. In this [http:// www.wolfdynamics.com/images/pdf/module1.pdf pdf] you will learn about

  • details on OpenFOAM directory organization
  • directory structure of an application/utility
  • applications/utilities in OpenFOAM
  • directory structure of an OpenFOAM case
  • simulation workflow
  • details on the in- and output of an OpenFOAM case

Don't go further than slide 241, we will continue there in another tutorial.

The tutorial itself starts on slide 110. Read the slides before, if you are interested in the details of directory organization. Between slides 153 and 241 you will find a most detailed explanation of all the important inputs, which you will need for simulations.
