DrivAer validation case - Automotive simulation
In this tutorial, we simulate the DrivAer car model. You will learn about,
- Running steady external aerodynamics automotive simulations.
- Setting boundary conditions for rotating wheels and moving ground.
- Non-uniform field initialization using potentialFoam.
- Setting the thermophysical properties for the working fluid.
- Adding a source term to limit the maximum values of the velocity field.
- Setting a robust numeric for external aerodynamics flow simulations.
- Adjusting the SIMPLE loop to improve accuracy.
- Sampling and plotting
